VRC.LOL Android Public Release Checklist
Current state: the native Android app has an active private Internal test with two selected accounts, and an independently verified 0.1.1 candidate is archived but has not been uploaded; no Closed, Open or Production release is public. Completed: native phone and tablet layouts, strict public-only networking, bounded Offline storage, accessibility checks, English (United Kingdom), German, Spanish and French catalogues, deep links, the Android privacy page, the public Events feed, signed-build evidence and automated monitoring. 1 — Recruit at least 12 consenting people with Google accounts and Android phones or tablets; Internal testing alone does not count toward Google's production-access rule. 2 — The owner reviews and approves the exact candidate, store title and descriptions, icon, feature graphic, screenshots, countries and regions, trademark wording, artwork rights, signing custody and Closed-test rollout. 3 — Only after that approval, create the private Closed track, add the consented list, upload the reviewed signed bundle and roll it out to those testers. 4 — Keep at least 12 testers opted into that Closed test continuously for 14 days while they genuinely exercise installation, Minecraft Java and Bedrock lookup, status, Events, Free Games, Podcasts, League guides, Offline mode, deep links, larger text and external-browser boundaries. 5 — Review tester feedback plus Play's pre-launch, accessibility, security, device-catalogue and policy reports; fix serious issues and repeat evidence checks when needed. 6 — After the qualifying period, apply for Production access and answer Google's testing and readiness questions truthfully. 7 — Before any Production release, rerun the live privacy preflight and final signing/evidence audit, then obtain an explicit owner go or no-go decision. Volunteer safely through the private Discord ticket link; never post Google addresses or device details publicly. This public card contains no tester identities, signing secrets, Riot or Minecraft credentials, private operations routes or Discord bot access.
