No. A PNG is only the texture artwork. Official cape ownership belongs to the Minecraft account and is managed by the game. This gallery cannot grant an event reward, change your account entitlement, or make a cape visible to other players in the official game.

Known texture hashes are matched to the cape catalogue. Other cached textures receive a distinct label containing the beginning of their hash. That lets you tell them apart without assigning an unverified official name. Search by the displayed name or identifier.

These are profiles recorded by VRC.LOL with this cape texture. They are a sample of the local cache, not the total number of Minecraft accounts that own the cape. A player's equipped cape can change after the cached observation.

The gallery uses /cape?hash=HASH&view=front, a 100×160 PNG of the visible front face. Open cape PNG uses /cape?hash=HASH and preserves the original texture atlas. Use the original atlas with a skin renderer; use the front thumbnail for a gallery or card.

Open the player lookup and check the Java or Bedrock edition you intend to use. A cape URL may be absent when the cached record has no cape. A gallery preview on a player is not proof that this player owns the selected cape.

A missing texture returns 404. A temporary texture-provider failure returns 503 with Retry-After; retry after that delay instead of assuming the cape was deleted. If your browser cannot run 3D, open the PNG to inspect the artwork.

Use HTTPS URLs and check the response status and Content-Type before treating a response as an image. Cache successful images and respect Retry-After on rate limits or temporary failures. The public endpoints need no API key; the API reference explains parameters and error responses.
