Minecraft Lookup Privacy Policy
How the VRC.LOL Minecraft lookup, public API, image tools, and Discord application process and protect data.
Last updated 20 August 2026
Information processed
The service processes the Minecraft username, UUID, XUID, gamertag, skin, or cape you request. Discord commands also provide a signed interaction and the Discord user ID needed to reply and enforce fair-use limits. Standard security logs may include request time, route, IP address, status, and user agent.
How information is used
Data is used to return public Minecraft profiles and images, verify genuine Discord interactions, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and measure aggregate service health. Hidden profiles return the same generic not-found response on the website and in Discord.
Storage, messages, and retention
The bot does not create a VRC.LOL account from a Discord identity or store command contents in a bot-user database. Rate-limit identifiers are held in service memory and expire or clear on restart. Discord controls the visibility and retention of channel responses; operational security logs may be retained for service protection.
Third parties and requests
Public profile data may come from Mojang, Microsoft, GeyserMC, Discord, and texture providers, whose own policies apply. Privacy or profile-hiding requests can be raised through the Void Resonance Discord community.
