THE DETAILS

What changed.

  1. Hand visuals now follow the controller grip with separate orientations for the left and right palm.
  2. The room menu pointer uses the controller’s aiming pose. The room menu is smaller for seated use.
  3. In an editable room, choose Select or Move, aim at an object and hold your dominant controller’s grip to move it. Release to finish.
  4. Choose Rotate and turn the gripped controller, or choose Scale and move it forward or back to resize the object.
  5. Grip edits keep undo history, frozen-object protection and room boundaries. Holding grip leaves the trigger available for Create, Color and Wire.
  6. VoidRoom checks for Quest updates before sign-in. Newer APKs download from dl.vrc.lol with a progress bar and are verified before installation.
  7. Choose Install update after verification, then confirm the Android installer on your headset. Required game or room updates must be installed before continuing to the affected game or room.

Before you jump in

This is an early Quest standalone test. Please check hand alignment and menu interaction on your headset and share any remaining issues.

Install this APK once over your existing test to get the new updater. Later updates can download inside VoidRoom; Android still asks you to confirm installation. If prompted, allow VoidRoom to install updates in headset settings. Your VRC.LOL account stays the same.

The in-headset installation flow still needs testing on a physical headset. Please report any missing installer prompt without uninstalling your existing copy.
