THE DETAILS

What changed.

  1. In the latest Windows preview, open the Watch → Rooms and find Paintball Yard by Guide. Bring a friend, then press a red or blue team entry button to spawn on the field.
  2. The covered arena has team bases, several spawn points, a safe lobby and a spectator gallery. Walking toward the field does not enter the match.
  3. Swap between standard, rapid, long-range and shotgun markers at the racks. Use F near a rack; swapping keeps your ammunition and firing cooldown.
  4. The server runs the match, checks hits and manages team respawns. A separate hosted room keeps Paintball available alongside the Clubhouse.
  5. Older incompatible clients receive an update message before entering Paintball. The latest Windows preview also includes the live crouch, prone and slide avatar bubble.

Before you jump in

This is a public development playtest for up to eight players. Report your build version, device and what happened when something goes wrong.

Quest requires a compatible APK promoted through Meta; Windows updates do not update the headset app.

For your own editable arena, choose Build → New Paintball Yard. The Game Mode chip provides match, combat, respawn and shotgun settings.
