Behind the name
The story of this place
Jarvan's injury and Shyvana's decision to help him connect the castle to a moment of vulnerability. Their encounter complicates the distance between a prince's inherited duties and an outsider's place in Demacia. The setting matters to that relationship rather than serving as another interchangeable royal fortress.
Part of a larger world
Demacia
Demacia's petricite is more than a building material: it reflects a kingdom shaped by fear of uncontrolled magic. Lux's hidden gifts, Sylas's imprisonment and Galio's awakening offer very different ways into that conflict. Reading them together makes the capital's protective walls feel less straightforward.

Where the stories come from
VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.
What the pictures show
Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
