A story to start with

Within the dark seams of Runeterra, the demon Evelynn searches for her next victim. She lures in prey with the voluptuous façade of a human female, but once a person succumbs to her charms, Evelynn's true form is unleashed. She then subjects her victim to unspeakable torment, gratifying herself with their pain. To the demon, these liaisons are innocent flings. To the rest of Runeterra, they are ghoulish tales of lust gone awry and horrific reminders of the cost of wanton desire.

    A demon learns the shape of desire

    Evelynn is a demon shaped around suffering, not a human who simply chose cruelty. The appealing form she adopts is a way to approach victims before revealing what she really is.

  2. Seduction becomes a means of suffering

    Desire supplies the lure; torment supplies what she wants from the encounter. Her apparent intimacy therefore serves a predatory purpose that is entirely different from the victim's expectations.

  3. Desire makes the trap inviting

    Evelynn's chosen appearance brings victims close enough for pleasure to become suffering. The hunger beneath that performance is not affection, even when it imitates intimacy. Her story describes a repeated method of predation rather than a confirmed itinerary through named towns.
