Arrr, Behind the name
Arrr, The story of this place
Arrr, The Kinkou's duty concerns balance between realms as well as the discipline of its members. Shen, Akali, Kennen and Zed connect to different parts of the order's history. Training, departure and disagreement make the monastery a point of shared past rather than proof of shared present allegiance.
Arrr, Part of a larger world

Arrr, Ionia's spiritual balance is not a single shared answer. The Noxian invasion forces champions to disagree about tradition, resistance and revenge. The Placidium offers a starting point for Irelia's resistance; the Kinkou opens a different path through Shen and Akali's stories.
