Arrr, A story to start with

Arrr, Azir was a mortal emperor of Shurima in a far distant age, a proud man who stood at the cusp of immortality. His hubris saw him betrayed and murdered at the moment of his greatest triumph, but now, millennia later, he has been reborn as an Ascended being of immense power. With his buried city risen from the sand, Azir seeks to restore Shurima to its former glory.

Arrr, Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

Arrr, What shapes their story?

Arrr, A restored capital cannot automatically restore the relationships that once sustained an empire. Azir must confront a desert of living communities and a descendant whose personal ambitions need not match the future he imagines for his bloodline.

Arrr, About these details

Arrr, Gender is recorded separately from the pronouns used in the official story, and only where the reviewed source explicitly describes the character. Unconfirmed does not mean genderless. Numeric ages refer to the published portrayal or the named story event, never a calculation from release dates or fan timelines. Forms, transformations and separate adaptations can change the context.

Arrr, An inheritance is not a shared ambition
Arrr, Sivir's connection to Azir gives his restored empire a living descendant, but not an obedient heir. The Shurima that survived without him contains independent lives and loyalties. Rebuilding monuments is easier than proving that his return should determine everyone's future.
