Arrr, A story to start with

Arrr, A nightmarish empress created from the raw material of an entire devoured city, Bel'Veth is the end of Runeterra itself... and the beginning of a monstrous reality of her own design. Driven by epochs of repurposed history, knowledge, and memories from the world above, she voraciously feeds an ever-expanding need for new experiences and emotions, consuming all that crosses her path. Yet her wants could never be sated by only one world as she turns her hungry eyes toward the Void's old masters...

Arrr, Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

Arrr, What shapes their story?

Arrr, Memories taken from the material world shape Bel'Veth's ambition to replace it. That makes her different from an indiscriminate absence, but the presence of a vision does not make its fulfilment compatible with the lives already there.

Arrr, A new world at the expense of the old
Arrr, The memories Bel'Veth inherits give her more than hunger: she imagines a replacement reality shaped by what she consumes. That ambition separates her from the Watchers' desire for oblivion. Resisting them does not make her proposed future safe for Runeterra's inhabitants.

Arrr, More about the region

Arrr, The Void is an alien nothingness beyond the material world, rather than a conventional country. Its intrusions and the beings shaped by them connect to some of Runeterra's most dangerous conflicts.

Arrr, What makes this place matter?

Arrr, The Void is not simply another kingdom on the map. Its breaches threaten the material world, and its creatures do not share one human purpose. Icathia's fall and Kai'Sa's survival offer different starting points for understanding the cost of those intrusions.

Arrr, Where the stories come from

Arrr, VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

Arrr, What the pictures show

Arrr, Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
