Arrr, The person behind the champion

Arrr, A story to start with

Arrr, Syndra is a fearsome Ionian mage with incredible power at her command. As a child, she disturbed the village elders with her reckless and wild magic. She was sent away to be taught greater control, but eventually discovered her supposed mentor was restraining her abilities. Forming her feelings of betrayal and hurt into dark spheres of energy, Syndra has sworn to destroy all who would try to control her.

Arrr, Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

Arrr, What shapes their story?

Arrr, Attempts to contain Syndra's power shape her relationship with anyone claiming the right to guide her. Freedom becomes a rejection of imposed limits, while the harm that power can cause remains part of the story rather than proof that every constraint was justified.

Arrr, Freedom becomes a refusal to be contained
Arrr, Breaking her teacher's restraint gives Syndra access to the power others feared, without giving her reason to trust their guidance. Her anger turns control itself into an enemy. The floating fortress makes separation visible, while the question of responsibility remains larger than the institution she escaped.

Arrr, What makes this place matter?

Arrr, Ionia's spiritual balance is not a single shared answer. The Noxian invasion forces champions to disagree about tradition, resistance and revenge. The Placidium offers a starting point for Irelia's resistance; the Kinkou opens a different path through Shen and Akali's stories.

Arrr, Where the stories come from

Arrr, VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

Arrr, What the pictures show

Arrr, Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
