THE DETAILS

What changed.

  1. Delayed microphone packets no longer end the room connection simply because they arrive in a burst. Excess delayed audio is discarded so room traffic can continue.
  2. Connection diagnostics now distinguish voice, movement and transport failures, making reported disconnects easier to investigate. Voice recordings and sign-in secrets are not included.

Before you jump in

This service update is already active and does not require another app download. Quest and Windows 0.1.0 builds ending in 20261020.9 remain the current app releases.

We are still checking a reported Meta sign-in problem. You can use Continue with VRC.LOL while we investigate.

A clearer Quest recovery screen, reconnect improvements and hand-control changes are being prepared for a future app update.

Public room layouts have not changed. Those improvements are being reviewed separately.

If a room disconnects, report the approximate time, room, device and app version in the community support channel. Account details should stay private.
