The person behind the champion

A story to start with

Trundle is a hulking and devious troll with a particularly vicious streak, and there is nothing he cannot bludgeon into submission—not even the Freljord itself. Fiercely territorial, he chases down anyone foolish enough to enter his domain. Then, his massive club of True Ice at the ready, he chills his enemies to the bone and impales them with jagged, frozen pillars, laughing as they bleed out onto the tundra.

What shapes their story?

The weapon promises Trundle a stronger position among his own people while binding his success to a dangerous source of authority. His story asks how much independence remains when the means of leadership arrives through another power's bargain.

Cunning and True Ice strengthen the claim
A club of True Ice makes territorial threats much more than bluster. Strength, deception and useful alliances can turn an underestimated troll into a danger to communities far beyond his own followers.

Cunning stands beside the True Ice club
Trundle's rise depends on finding advantages stronger rivals overlook. The weapon makes his threats credible, while alliances introduce other powers' expectations into his rule. Being underestimated remains useful to someone whose ambitions are larger than the role outsiders assign to a troll.

Where the stories come from

VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

What the pictures show

Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
