The person behind the champion

A story to start with

The fully biomechanical evolution of his former self, Viktor has embraced his Glorious Evolution and become something of a messiah to his followers. He sacrificed his own humanity under the logic that eliminating emotion would thereby eliminate suffering—and now seeks to bring the revelation of the hexcore to the rest of the world, even if they're incapable of understanding the benefit. After all, to this master of the arcane, violence is merely a variable necessary to balance the ultimate equation.

Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

What shapes their story?

Viktor's answer to suffering depends on changing the conditions of human vulnerability. His disagreement with Jayce makes progress a conflict over who defines improvement, while the differences between Universe and Arcane require their accounts to be read with care.

Transformation becomes an answer to imperfection

The Glorious Evolution makes transformation an answer to the imperfections he sees in humanity. Removing emotional pain can become difficult to distinguish from removing the freedom of people who do not choose his solution.

An answer to suffering confronts consent

Viktor's promise of transformation raises the question of who gets to decide what a better human life should be. Jayce provides an opposing perspective on their divided vision. Older Universe biographies and Arcane differ in important events, so their shared themes should not be merged into a fabricated chronology.

Collaborators and a divided vision

Jayce

Riot's Universe biographies describe brilliant colleagues who split over methods, recognition and what progress should mean. Arcane tells parts of their shared history differently.

Blitzcrank

The older Universe biography describes Viktor recovering and experimenting on the abandoned golem. Blitzcrank's later independence makes that beginning different from continued ownership or obedience.

The story beneath the scenery

What makes this place matter?

Zaun is a lived-in home as well as an industrial undercity. Its different levels separate workshops, markets and dangerous depths. Ekko and Zeri's community ties offer a different view from the chem-barons and experiments that dominate many outsiders' impressions.

Where the stories come from

VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

What the pictures show

Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.

A world still being written

Older biographies and newer adaptations can differ. These guides introduce connections rather than declaring a final chronology or a character's current whereabouts. Translations help you explore and may keep original proper names. Follow the official sources for full context.
