Arrr, The person behind the champion

Arrr, A story to start with

Arrr, From the moment Cho'Gath first emerged into the harsh light of Runeterra's sun, the beast was driven by the most pure and insatiable hunger. A perfect expression of the Void's desire to consume all life, Cho'Gath's complex biology quickly converts matter into new bodily growth—increasing its muscle mass and density, or hardening its outer carapace like organic diamond. When growing larger does not suit the Void-spawn's needs, it vomits out the excess material as razor-sharp spines, leaving prey skewered and ready to feast upon later.

Arrr, Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

Arrr, What shapes their story?

Arrr, Cho'Gath's account describes a creature through what feeding enables it to become. Growth and weaponised matter explain the threat, while the limited life history resists turning a clear monstrous concept into unsupported campaigns or named historical victories.

Arrr, Legends and stories

Arrr, This story is told through legends, uncertain origins or recurring encounters. Read these as different parts of the story, rather than a confirmed life history.

Arrr, A creature defined by consumption

Arrr, Cho'Gath embodies the Void as a devouring threat rather than a person with an ordinary childhood. The creature's hunger converts other life into the substance of its own growing body.

  2. The RuptureArrr, Riot Games · Regional world artwork

    Arrr, Feeding reshapes the body

Arrr, Feeding can increase its size, strength and armour, while excess material becomes another weapon. Its monstrous appearance is therefore part of a biology built around consumption.

  3. An Unknowable PowerArrr, Riot Games · Regional world artwork

Arrr, Growth without a human life history

Arrr, Cho'Gath's overview connects feeding to physical growth and the use of excess matter as weaponry. That gives a clear picture of the creature's threat, but not a dated sequence of campaigns. Its appetite should not be expanded into invented victims, battles or origins.

Arrr, More about the region

Arrr, The Void is an alien nothingness beyond the material world, rather than a conventional country. Its intrusions and the beings shaped by them connect to some of Runeterra's most dangerous conflicts.

Arrr, What makes this place matter?

Arrr, The Void is not simply another kingdom on the map. Its breaches threaten the material world, and its creatures do not share one human purpose. Icathia's fall and Kai'Sa's survival offer different starting points for understanding the cost of those intrusions.

Arrr, Where the stories come from

Arrr, VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

Arrr, What the pictures show

Arrr, Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
