Arrr, The person behind the champion

Arrr, A story to start with

Arrr, Singed is a brilliant alchemist of dubious morality, whose experiments would turn the stomach of even the most cutthroat criminal. Selling his skills to the highest bidder, he cares little for how his noxious concoctions are used, with the ensuing chaos an experiment in itself. His most infamous work is “shimmer”, which enabled the chembarons to turn Zaun into their personal playground—but fueled by madness, Singed is always working on something new, with each endeavor more depraved than the last...

Arrr, Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

Arrr, What shapes their story?

Arrr, Knowledge becomes disturbing when other lives are treated primarily as material for it. Singed's experiments connect individual suffering with consequences beyond the laboratory, making scientific persistence a question of what the investigator refuses to count as a limit.

Arrr, Alchemy pursued without ordinary ethical limits

Arrr, Singed treats alchemy as a pursuit whose limits are set by curiosity rather than ordinary ethics. The people affected by an experiment can become less important to him than the knowledge it produces.

Arrr, Private research transforms the wider city

Arrr, Selling that expertise connects private research to wider systems of violence and control. Shimmer's place in Zaun shows how a discovery can transform a city long after leaving the laboratory.

Arrr, An experiment outlives the laboratory

Arrr, Singed's work carries consequences into the bodies and communities affected by it. Warwick provides a particularly direct account of what an experiment costs its subject. Scientific success from the researcher's perspective does not restore consent or reverse suffering for the person transformed.

Warwick

Arrr, Warwick remembers Singed's laboratory through fragments of pain. The experiments explain the machinery and alchemy imposed on his body, while the surviving traces of a person make their consequences more than a successful procedure.

Arrr, What makes this place matter?

Arrr, Zaun is a lived-in home as well as an industrial undercity. Its different levels separate workshops, markets and dangerous depths. Ekko and Zeri's community ties offer a different view from the chem-barons and experiments that dominate many outsiders' impressions.

Arrr, Where the stories come from

Arrr, VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

Arrr, What the pictures show

Arrr, Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
