The person behind the champion

A story to start with

The yordle mage Lulu is known for conjuring dreamlike illusions and fanciful creatures as she roams Runeterra with her fairy companion Pix. Lulu shapes reality on a whim, warping the fabric of the world, and what she views as the constraints of this mundane, physical realm. While others might consider her magic at best unnatural, and at worst dangerous, she believes everyone could use a touch of enchantment.

Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

What shapes their story?

Wonder changes what Lulu notices and how she acts in a world others consider ordinary. Pix's companionship gives that difference a relationship, while the strange experiences of her story resist being reduced to a reliable account of elapsed time.

A yordle follows Pix into fae magic

Lulu's understanding of reality is shaped by fae magic and her companion Pix. Experiences that seem extraordinary to mortals can feel natural to a yordle who sees the physical world's rules as negotiable.

Returning with another view of reality

Her transformations are offered with delight rather than ordinary caution. That difference makes a friendly act potentially bewildering or frightening to someone who did not choose to be enchanted.

Returning from a different sense of time

Lulu's time with Pix in the fae world leaves her out of step with the expectations of ordinary travellers. She offers transformations as gifts, while their recipients may experience confusion or fear. Her story makes benevolent intention and another person's comfort very different things.

More about the region

An enchanted home of yordles linked to the material world by unusual gateways. Its pathways do not behave like ordinary roads, and its inhabitants often form deep connections far beyond their home.

Portal pathways

Low Roads

Enchanted gateways link Bandle City to Runeterra. Some move, while others remain rooted; passage can depend on gestures and symbols rather than ordinary travel directions.

The story beneath the scenery

What makes this place matter?

Bandle City belongs to the spirit realm, so its routes cannot be read like ordinary roads. Yordles also make lives across Runeterra. A champion's connection to this home does not mean every part of their biography takes place here.

Where the stories come from

VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

What the pictures show

Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.

A world still being written

Older biographies and newer adaptations can differ. These guides introduce connections rather than declaring a final chronology or a character's current whereabouts. Translations help you explore and may keep original proper names. Follow the official sources for full context.
