The person behind the champion

A story to start with

Milio is a warmhearted boy from Ixtal who has, despite his young age, mastered the fire axiom and discovered something new: soothing fire. With this newfound power, Milio plans to help his family escape their exile by joining the Yun Tal—just like his grandmother once did. Having traveled through the Ixtal jungles to the capital of Ixaocan, Milio now prepares to face the Vidalion and join the Yun Tal, unaware of the trials—and dangers—that await him.

What shapes their story?

Leaving a familiar community makes Milio's warm approach to elemental power a challenge to established expectations. His journey toward the Yun Tal places an unusual gift beside institutions that decide whose learning and background deserve recognition.

A family hope carried by soothing fire
Milio's warm approach to elemental magic produces soothing fire rather than another weapon. That discovery belongs to a family history shaped by exile and hopes of regaining a place within Ixtal's institutions.

The journey toward Ixaocan's institutions
Travelling to Ixaocan makes that hope a real test. The Vidalion and the Yun Tal represent both an opportunity to help his family and a world of authority whose dangers he does not fully understand.

A family's hope enters the capital
Milio's journey places the kindness of his magic before the institutions that might restore his family's standing. His fire can heal, yet the political setting is not automatically benevolent. Reaching Ixaocan is therefore the beginning of a test rather than proof that the family's hopes are fulfilled.

More about the region

A secluded civilisation whose elemental magic keeps outsiders at a distance. Behind the wilderness is a sophisticated society shaped by inherited knowledge, exacting trials and the authority of the Yun Tal.

Hidden city

Ixaocan

Ixtal's hidden city joins architecture with elemental disciplines. Its cardinal arcology contains the Vidalion, where an initiate accepted into the Yun Tal receives magically woven garments.

The story beneath the scenery

What makes this place matter?

Ixtal's apparent wilderness conceals a sophisticated elemental civilisation. Ixaocan and the Yun Tal offer a starting point for its institutions, while champions from the surrounding jungle reveal lives outside that ruling structure. These connections do not make every jungle inhabitant a citizen of the city.

Where the stories come from

VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

What the pictures show

Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.
