The person behind the champion

A story to start with

Hidden amongst the craggy cliffs of the Noxian frontier, under the watchful eyes of his mother, a young dragon is learning what it means to be heir to the Camavoran imperial dragon lineage. Playful and eager to grow up, Smolder looks for any excuse to practice his burgeoning abilities. Though he's still a fledgling, his skills are nothing to sneeze at, easily setting fire to anything that burns.

Short biography by Riot Games · Data Dragon 16.20.1

What shapes their story?

A young dragon's confidence sits beside a dependence on maternal protection. Learning what his heritage means is therefore different from already possessing an adult's mastery, and the contrast gives danger an unusually playful and vulnerable point of view.

Learning to command a fledgling's fire

Practice and play can have serious consequences when a fledgling already breathes dangerous fire. His desire to be taken seriously sits beside an obvious need to keep learning.

A young dragon grows into a large inheritance

Smolder's mother supplies the protection and guidance his confidence can obscure. Learning to use fire safely is part of becoming what he imagines himself already to be. His Camavoran ancestry and Noxian frontier upbringing are different connections, rather than interchangeable names for the same homeland.

Where the stories come from

VRC.LOL writes the introductions, reading notes and connections using linked Riot Universe biographies and regional guides. Short champion summaries use Data Dragon version 16.20.1. Longer histories link to the official story used; some champions currently have a shorter official overview.

What the pictures show

Artwork belongs to Riot Games. Scenery comes from Riot's Runeterra world map; champion art depicts the character. A regional illustration sets the scene when a landmark has no dedicated image. It does not show a confirmed event at that exact place.

A world still being written

Older biographies and newer adaptations can differ. These guides introduce connections rather than declaring a final chronology or a character's current whereabouts. Translations help you explore and may keep original proper names. Follow the official sources for full context.
